Welcome to Paul Haas's web server
Welcome to a historic website
I haven't updated some of these pages in so long, that they are becoming
historicly significant. Content that was worthy of national media
coverage in 1994 and 1995, is not so impressive this year. It's hard
to believe now, but this website was part of the inspiration for the
founders of Yahoo to start maintaining an index of interesting web sites.
Most of my web pages were written before my first child was born.
I'm still active in YAAARC, The
Ypsilanti Ann Arbor Area Robotics Club and
The Stilyagi Air Corps, a local Science Fiction club (err,
literary organiziation).
Now go back in time to older content...
See what's going on in the
refrigerator.
You can test the water in my
hottub.
Look here for hottub notes.
My next project will use Basic Stamp's from Parallax Inc. and digital
thermostat chips from Dallas
Semiconductor. Of course, I've connected some to the Internet, the temperature of my
desk top accurate to a half degree Celsius.
By the way, I am Paul Haas.

Hardware Reviews in Progress
- A Metcal Inc. soldering
system, so now I will be able to do surface mount soldering. They also
sent a Metcal
TALON. Expect to see some new electronics on this site.
- Some humidity and temperature sensors from Hycal. They
included some platinum RTD temperature sensors that can go from the
freezer to the oven. I guess it's time to put a toaster on the Internet.
